Captions that read naturally
Whole sentences rather than broken fragments, so they are easy to follow.
ReTrans turns your speaker's voice into translated captions on your live stream, within seconds, in the language your audience reads.

How it works
Nothing to install, and nothing heavy running on your computer. The AI does its work in the cloud.
Choose the language being spoken and press start.
Add your personal captions link to your streaming software once. Nothing shows until someone speaks.
Captions appear over your video as the speaker talks. Press stop when the service ends.
What you need
No special or expensive hardware. The AI translation happens in the cloud, not on your computer, so an ordinary computer is enough.
Features
Captions that help a viewer follow along without competing with the speaker.
Whole sentences rather than broken fragments, so they are easy to follow.
Add a short hint such as "a sermon, with Bible readings" so the right words are chosen.
Earlier captions fade above the current one, so nobody gets lost.
Fonts, colours, size and position, with a live preview and ready-made styles.
Each account has its own settings and its own private captions link.
A silent microphone, a dropped connection or the wrong language detected shows up as a plain warning, instead of an empty screen.
Mask words you never want on screen, and try it out first.
Languages
Choose the main spoken language. English is always understood too, so a sentence or a few English words in the middle of a talk are captioned normally.

Translations are generated by AI and can be wrong, especially with names, scripture quotations and fast or overlapping speech. ReTrans says so on screen while captions are running. It is a help for viewers who would otherwise understand nothing, not a replacement for a human interpreter where accuracy is critical.
FAQ
ReTrans accounts are set up for you rather than signed up for. Get in touch and we'll get you started.
Usually two to five seconds after a sentence ends. ReTrans waits for each sentence to finish before translating it, so viewers read whole sentences rather than words that keep changing.
Good with clear speech, but they are AI translations and can be wrong — most often with names, scripture quotations, and fast or overlapping speech. A short note saying so stays on screen while captions are running.
OBS Studio, vMix, or any app that can show a web page over your video. You add your captions link once, and it stays in your scene.
No. ReTrans does not record or store the audio, and does not keep what was said. The audio is sent to a cloud AI service only to produce the captions.
No. The translation is done in the cloud, so nothing heavy runs on your computer and you don't need powerful or expensive hardware. An ordinary computer with a web browser and an internet connection is enough.
No. ReTrans runs in your web browser, and your streaming app simply shows your captions link.
